Mestek Machinery is delighted to announce Alan Kremzar as the new operations manager. Alan grew up in St. Louis before graduating with a mechanical engineering degree from University of Missouri – Rolla, in 2003. After a quick stint with the US Army Corps of Engineers, he relocated to the Kansas City area to pursue a position as an outside sales engineer for a manufacturer’s rep firm, specializing in premier industrial automation and process control instrumentation.
In that role, Alan’s responsibilities included sales and service, working with technicians, engineers, project managers, and management. He credits a focus on customer service and response time were keys to maintaining and growing his customer base and revenue.
Alan started at Mestek Machinery the Fall of 2018 as the senior application engineer in the sales department and is excited to serve as the new operations mangers. In the application engineer position, he concentrated on costings, machine builds, upgrading to modern systems & programs, the Epicor implementation, and so on. Alan’s new team includes warehouse/shipping and receiving, purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing. In this new role his main goals include improving lead times and on time delivery, reducing costs, modernizing systems, including Epicor, and bringing a technical point-of-view to the business unit.
Alan lives in Tiffin, IA with his wife Diana, and sons Dylan (7) and Miles (5) with whom he shares his passion for racing vintage sports cars, riding bikes, and spending family time together.
