Mestek Machinery is very pleased to announce that Herbert J. Fischer has joined our organization as Senior Project Service Engineer.
Herb has decades of experience in designing equipment and tooling solutions for sheet metal contractors for duct fabrication. Herb spent the majority of his time at Engel Industries in St. Louis where he invented the TDF® – Transverse Duct Flange and pioneered the Engel method of duct automation. At Mestek Machinery, Herb will report to Scott Sloan, Operations Manager.
He will focus first on improving our response in Engel parts, service and control retrofits. Herb is available to travel with our Regional Sales Managers and Dealers to help close significant sales opportunities where the Engel solutions may be superior or preferred. And finally, we are most excited about the opportunity to have Herb participate in and inform our new product development efforts.
Herb is full of great ideas and energy to make a mark upon the duct shop marketplace. We are pleased that Herb views Mestek Machinery as a platform for his talents and ambitions. Please join us in welcoming Herb to our machinery family.
