Even Software Developers Get Dirty

John Welty Under a Pro-Fabriduct

Even our software developers can get dirty in the field.

Welty Automation Software Developers aren’t scared to get a little dirty if it means getting the job done.

John Welty of Welty Automation had to crawl under a Iowa Precision roll former, part of the Pro-Fabriduct Coil Line, to adjust a pressure reducer while troubleshooting a problem at Allred in Rocky Mount, NC. John went Allred to assist with a software related issue and was there without a field service tech, but that wasn’t going to stop him from helping our customer.

The operator was explaining a problem with the operation of the rafted roll former head. John began testing the operation manually and noticed a problem and placed a call to the factory. John was asked to check the hydraulic pressure gauge on the that part of the machine. He borrowed tools from the customer and made the necessary adjustments and then provided additional training on the how the machine is expected to operate. Nicely done John!
