AHR Expo Mexico originally began as a small spin-off of the worlds largest industry event, AHR Expo, and has grown into the greatest HVAC&R event in Mexico and Latin America. This year’s event took place at the Expo Guadalajara Convention Center in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The event showcased products from over 350+ exhibitors and drew crowds of more than 8,000 industry professionals from Mexico, Latin America, and various countries worldwide.
Formtek International recently returned from exhibiting at AHR Expo Mexico and is happy to report on a successful exhibition. Formtek International's booth was staffed by Alex Trevino, VP of Sales. Alex brings his years of steel processing knowledge in the Latin America region, spearheading Formtek International’s efforts. Also joining the team was Bill Dennis, Sales Manager at Mestek Machinery, who brings his many years of technical expertise in the service realm. Luis Lopez, leader of sales efforts for Consorcio Industrial de Comercio, which represents Formtek International in various regions in Mexico, attended as well. 
This year saw a lot of excitement during show and many people eager to get back in business after the economic slowdown caused by restrictions implemented to combat the Covid pandemic. The show was well-attended, and Formtek International received more than 75 leads from customers of the region, which includes Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, El Salvador, Peru, and the Caribbean.
We will spend the next few weeks diligently following up with all these inquiries, and we will set up visits to duct shops to demonstrate what Formtek International can do to help our HVAC industry customers accomplish their goals.
