The revolutionary automatic Lockformer Spiral Tube Formers are fully-featured while remaining the most affordable machines in their class. Unlike other compact models, Two models of Spiral Tube Formers are available:
Model 1.2: produces spiral pipe up to 18 gauge (1.25 mm) thickness with a maximum speed of 235 ft/min (71 m/min)
Model 2.0: produces spiral pipe from 28-14 gauge (0.50-2.0 mm) thickness with maximum speeds of 287-344 ft/min (84-104 m/min) depending on gauge
Both Lockformer Spiral Tube Formers produce pipe from 3" to 100" in diameter.
Lockformer’s user-friendly Spiral Smart Technology™ control system takes the guess work out of setup and pressure settings for proper operation. Machine download capabilities enable automated job input from the CAM operator, increasing shop productivity and connectivity. Advanced machine intelligence provides on-demand analytic data such as machine up time, feet per minute, and production rates that help you to optimize your operations and product quality.
All Lockformer Spiral Tubeformers feature a flying slitting device for silent and precise cutting of tubes 4″ diameter and up to 20 gauge without burs and sparks.
The optional pallet decoiler feature enables quicker changeover. Other options include a corrugating unit for shipping and flying crimp technology to suit your spiral tube forming needs.
